Sunset Ice over Trout Creek in St. Marys, Ontario

The sun was just beginning to set over the historic Water Street Bridge, a seven-panel pin connected Pratt through truss bridge crossing Trout Creek and further beyond, the short cascade of Little Falls on the Thames river in St. Marys, Ontario. A brief, January thaw had just occurred after a particularly frigid New Year and a ‘flash freeze’ cemented large pieces of ice in the creek.
