A Christmas Mystery in France
I really love this Christmasy time of year
and on Thursday, followsummer flies from Toronto to Paris, indulging our Christmas spirit in her storied Christmas Markets. For you faithful followsummer followers that know us, France (and particularly Paris) is a followsummer favorite. We have visited famous castles along the Cher River in Le Loire, seen the historic and ancient Le Mont St-Michel, sipped summer wine in Languedoc Rousillion, visited the killing fields of Vimy and Normandy and even danced Sur le Pont d’Avignon! However, THIS followsummer France Rendezvous, sponsored by Rendez-vous en France Canada, is a little different.
We have not been told our final destinations yet!
Will it be Provence , Evian, or the Loire Valley? Think of a French Christmas Amazing Race: six Canadian bloggers, three destinations, four days of experiencing Christmas as only the French can. All will be revealed upon our arrival at the airport on Thursday.

Help us solve our Christmas Mystery by following #FestiveFrance online on Twitter @followsummergg, our Facebook page, and Instagram page. Make sure you tag your posts with #FestiveFrance, and you could be entered to win a trip for 2 to France in 2017 with Air France! We will be coming at you live from #FestiveFrance courtesy of My Webspot – Pocket Wifi for Travelers, a travel bloggers dream!
As a final Christmas challenge, we will gather in Paris and exchange select Christmas gifts from our final destinations and be feted with a VIP shopping experience at the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, engage in a photo challenge from the top of the Arc de Triomphe and enjoy the City of Lights in all her Christmas splendour, culminating in an evening of vintage wine tasting in the famed cellars of De Vinis Illustribus.
