Canada to Ease Travel Restrictions from Mexico

Starting Dec. 1, 2016, entry requirements for Mexican citizens travelling to Canada will become considerably less onerous. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, today, announced that Canada will lift visa requirement for Mexican visitors to Canada, during Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto’s two-day state visit to Canada.

Intrepid Posts Record Growth in Canada

Intrepid Travel says it has seen a record growth of 45 per cent in private and FIT sales — its fastest growing segment — for the year, a number that is being driven primarily by travel agent clients looking to create customizable getaways. Poll: Canadians Look to Cut Back on Spending This Summer

Canadians are planning to spend 25 percent less on summer entertainment than they did last year according to a new poll by CIBC. The Canadian financial institution, in partnership with Angus Reid Forum, queried some 3,000 Canadians about their summer spending plans.
